Julie's first post written by Bryce

Julie just made the most delicious cinnamon rolls (a lie, they're still in the oven)
Plan your week in New Zealand! I'll see if I can find a calendar on here...
We're taking the first of many trips to the storage unit, bye bye stuff we won't see for 2 years. Oooh, I better get my snowboard videos out!
We agree it's tough figuring out what we won't need for 2 years, but it's a good challenge, and the reward is pretty sweet. It's made easier with sweets for breakfast and fresh ground coffee (charbucks).
Oh and Bryce is aching for snow, so weird.

First post

So after talking with the wife we agreed to start this blog. I figured it would chronicle our constantly moving nature(snowboard instructor, skier with cohones, 1/2 marathoner, globe trotter, endless talkers), and our adventures and mis-adventures as we participate in things that define us. I envisioned this would be mostly my views with some of Julies great insight, but wouldn't venture into too much of cliche blog material of emotions, but rather capture the moments and a subtle notes of how we feel about them. We agreed this record would be cool for ourselves, our distant friends when we make the move, and maybe our future kids.
So todays note is that I'm ~39 years away from federal retirement, which based on a tight schedule (Julie calls it ghetto), we could have great-grand-children. That's freaking crazy. On that note... We're less than 6 months away from temporary retirement.
